Accounts Administrator (Part Time)

Our client is a well-established company based in Greenogue, Co Dublin.


They are currently looking to hire a part time Accounts Administrator with strong bookkeeping skills to carry out accounts and administration activities to include sales invoicing, reconciliations , payments ,the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports as needed for the management team as well as assisting in the preparation of month end accounts.


Successful candidate must have relevant experience and be professional, mature, and flexible with a can-do friendly manner.


Previous Experience Required:

  • Demonstrable experience in good company finance practice, including bank reconciliations, creditor & debtor reconciliations, credit control processing customer & supplier Invoices, and preparation of ROS/VAT / PAYE-PRSI tax returns and administration.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date and correctly posted.
  • Creditors and Debtors. Supplier & Customer Invoicing.
  • Check purchase invoices, reconcile and post.
  • Email & Phone - Query Handling
  • Preparation of weekly reports.
  • Preparation VAT/PAYE&PRSI returns. 
  • Filing & Management: Organize and maintain filing systems meticulously.
  • Ensure all company vehicles are properly taxed and insured.
  • Preparing information for wages and submit to finance company for processing.
  • Preparing year end for accountants and dealing with relevant queries.
  • Work with co accountant in Northern Ireland re year end accounts and making payments to HMRC.


Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in Bookkeeping & Financial standard practices.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role
  • ROS Online Experience, Submissions, My Enquiries.
  • Business banking online experience.
  • A good working knowledge of sales/purchase invoicing and purchase order systems
  • Excellent computer literacy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent numeric and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail.
